Sports have always played a significant role in shaping the moral character of our students. Teamwork, self-sacrifice, courage, stamina, perseverance, hard work, self-control — these values are forged in competition. Our athletic program lives by the highest code of sportsmanship. At CCS, we play hard, we play by the rules, and we have fun.
Jason Stein has been a coach, scout and player for over 25 years, with 17 of those years in professional baseball. He most recently has served, before coming to Cornerstone, as the Hitting and Infield Coach for Scottsdale Community College in Arizona.
Stein spent 11 years at the Major League level as an Assistant Hitting Coach. He is also a graduate of the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau. After playing shortstop at Rockledge High School in Florida, Stein went on to play second base at Richland College in Dallas, TX where he won back-to-back Junior College World Series.
