Sports have always played a significant role in shaping the moral character of our students. Teamwork, self-sacrifice, courage, stamina, perseverance, hard work, self-control -- these values are forged in competition. Our athletic program lives by the highest code of sportsmanship. At CCS, we play hard, we play by the rules, and we have fun.
Therese Bass joined the CCS staff in the spring of 2011 at the helm of the Cornerstone Warrior Golf Program. Under Coach Bass’ lead, the Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ golf teams have earned numerous team and individual honors. The Boys’ and Girls’ golf teams have qualified for Regional and State, individually and as a team. Bass also heads up the CCS Middle School golf program.
Seventy individual medalists boast honors in the ISAL Conference in the years of competition under Bass, including a first place finish at the ISAL Par Girls’ Team Championship in 2017-2018.
Bass graduated from Texas State University in May of 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
